Vision of Lovely

The single from the forthcoming soundtrack EP – SOUR.

This is the début release from 17 stories. A brand new collaborative arts project from Lynn Monk and Jepist Jepist. 17 stories will, over the coming years, create 17 original new stories that will be illustrated in multimedia format. This first story “sour” from which this single is taken, is a macabre love story that doesn’t have a “Happily ever after” ending. This single illustrates the couple’s first meeting and the love that engulfs them.

Watch out for the EP release on July 17th 2017!

Hallelujah (Ring those Bells)

Peter & Sharon are a husband & wife folk duo from Lancashire UK. For many years they have been gigging around the folk and open-mic clubs accross the UK, performing a mixture of popular songs and a few of their own.

This Christmas song was written by the duo in 2013 but like the majority of their set it has never been recorded. Finally they decided to venture into the studio to make a single for general release. They are also donating 50%  of the proceeds to raise funds for Pendle Hospice.

Individual

The sixth single from The Johnnie Squizzercrow Experiment.

This is now experiment number 3 and another new line-up! The band returns after a year of absense from the live scene and a completely new set of songs. Singer, Tamsyn, replaces Debz, and guitarist Ed replaces Dave.

The new songs are now slightly more structured and the band explore a diverse range of genres from Dub reggae to funk; from punk to metal and all kinds in between. Following on from Experiment number 2 where the sound was cut back to bare basics, the 3rd Experiment expands on this and takes in some new sounds with an extra guitar, melodica, and various other noises in the pipeline, mostly played by new singer, Tamsyn. However, rhythm section Guy and Lynn, manage to keep the same feel and energy to the sound of the new material, allowing this Experiment to retain existing fans whilst appealing to a wider market. (See song pages for further details).

Featuring 2 tracks:- WARNING!! Both tracks contain explicit lyrics.

1. Individual – A stomping clap-along crowd participation event that rants about many artist’s lack of individuality. JSE play what they want and and don’t care what the media thinks!
2. Down Bitch – Weird dischordant lead guitar, meets strongly accented bass riffs and angry vocals that reject authority.

The individual songs and licensing can be purchased from the song pages. Click on the song titles above to go there. To get the complete single, choose an option below!

The songs can be auditioned from the song pages or from the band page.
